Writing.

I am a writer. or at least i say that i am.

i write both fiction and non-fiction. i have written a plethora of printed articles, and a few published poems.

over this last year i have tried to become a more accomplished and intelligent writer. i have drawn from a wide spread of books, articles, and poems that i have loved to start honing my very own style. i would not say that i am a fully original author though… if only because Goethe is the one and only.  (i am laughing out loud to myself… is that pathetic?)

i write from the heart. my stories all come from somewhere within me. the characters are never baseless and i never write a story to fit something i dont believe. i put so much of myself into everything i write that it wouldnt be far fetched to look at every piece of my writing as partially autobiographical.

i would love to be an author that gets to just write every day and be paid to put out books. but that would also suck so much of the beauty out of it for me. i want to write because it is my connection with the spirit that lives among us. i want to write because i can feel the passions of my family members passed in the words i write. i want to write to honor the people who have given their best years to making my life easier. i want to write to honor my family. i want to give these offerings of myself, of my soul, to the word.

i want to make the world a better place, even in the most minor way possible.
